Equipment

  • 1 kitchen scale
  • 1 small knife
  • 1 measuring spoons

Ingredients

  • 6 large hard-boiled eggs
  • 1 small avocado
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 tablespoon chives (chopped)
  • teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon flaked chili

Instructions

  • Cut the avocado in half, scoop out the flesh into a bowl, and mash it using a fork.
  • Cut the hard-boiled eggs in half lengthwise and carefully scoop out the yolks. Add the yolks to the mixing bowl with the avocado.
  • Transfer the sliced egg whites to a plate and set them aside for later.
  • Add the lime or lemon juice, salt, pepper, chili flakes, and chopped chives to the mixing bowl with the egg yolks. Mix well until smooth.
  • Spoon the mixture into a piping bag, and fill the egg white halves.
  • Garnish the Avocado Deviled Eggs with chili flakes and chopped chives, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Make sure to use avocados that are fully ripe for the best flavor and texture. The flesh should be soft but not mushy, and the skin should be dark in color.
  • The quality of your eggs will affect the taste and appearance of your deviled eggs. Try to use fresh and organic eggs for the best results.
  • To achieve a smooth and creamy texture, mash the avocado and egg yolks thoroughly with a fork or a food processor.
  • Avocado deviled eggs can be quite mild in flavor, so don't be afraid to add plenty of seasonings and spices to enhance the taste. Lime juice, chili powder, fresh coriander, and smoked paprika are all great options to consider.
  • To achieve a neat and professional-looking presentation, use a piping bag to fill the egg white halves with the avocado filling.
  • Avocado Deviled Eggs do not freeze well due to the high water content of the avocado. It is best to enjoy them fresh or stored in the refrigerator for a short period of time.
